PRP for Skin Rejuvenation

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy (also known as The Vampire Facial) is a regenerative therapy, which uses nothing but the patients own blood to totally rejuvenate and resurface the skin, meaning it’s totally safe and natural.

Platelets are tiny blood cells which play a crucial part in helping the body stop bleeding – as well as repairing damaged blood vessels and cells. Think of them as little powerhouses, which release proteins for growth when they come into contact with the body’s tissue. The PRP Vampire Facial uses the body’s platelet-rich plasma to help stimulate new blood vessel formation, collagen production and to build a new dermis so the skin appears plumper, rejuvenated and more youthful-looking.

  • Improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars and stretch marks

  • Rejuvenate the under-eye area

  • Tighten stubborn open pours

  • Plump and volumise any area (e.g. cheeks) where someone might otherwise use fillers

  • Give your skin that baby-new, celebrity glow

In PRP, a needle is used to draw blood from the client’s arm. The blood is then spun in a machine, to remove the platelets. The plasma from the blood is extracted and microneedled into the client’s face using tiny acupuncture-style needles to rejuvenate the surface. The skin then has a cooling muslin mask applied using the purest Hyarolaunic Acid which is found naturally in our own body and is the gold standard in anti-ageing facials.

The PRP Vampire Facial is considered to be a great alternative to more invasive treatments such as a facelift and most people are suitable to have it. However, if you suffer from any kind of platelet dysfunction syndrome, thrombocytopenia, hypofibrinogenaemia, haemodynamic instability, sepsis, acute & chronic infections or chronic liver pathology then you may not be suitable for treatment.
